Applied Digital Arts

Major Program

During Freshman year students take foundation courses in 2D & 3D Design, Drawing, Digital Foundations, Intro to Digital Media and either Life Drawing or Digital Photo.

The second year prepares students with an introduction to each of the study areas in the major. Courses include, Visual Storytelling and Character Design, Digital Animation, Computer Aided Modeling, Intro to Creative Coding, Digital Translation (Intro to Web), Typography, Sound Production and History of Applied Digital Arts. 

Beginning with the Junior year students enter into their concentration specialization, either Animation (3D and or 2D), Game Art (Production Design for Gaming) or Interactive Media. Students also will have the opportunity to take professional internships for credit. At the upper level students can choose to take course work across Applied Digital Arts or choose to take a second concentration.
